Jagex aims to be a carbon neutral company; we buy electricity wherever possible from a renewable energy company, Ecotricity. We offset all other carbon emissions. We promote recycling around the office and use fair trade products. We also offer team members a monthly free bike repair service and promote a car sharing scheme to further limit our carbon footprint.
Jagex contributes a percentage of its profits each year to charity. Charities support range from Cancer research to educational funds. Over £500,000 has been given away via this programme. We also support community activities. In 2007 we raised £2500 for the SOS Children’s Charity and supported the British Wheelchair basketball team, amongst other charities.
