Wellbeing During Isolation

Advice from our mental health charity partner, CPSL Mind
We understand that the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and its consequences will impact everyone and will raise particular concerns around mental health.
During this time, you may feel anxious, lonely or stressed as you self-isolate or experience other pressures in your home or working life. Everyone reacts differently to events and the way that we think, feel and act will change over time.
The important thing is that you take care of your mental health as well as your physical health and seek further support if you need it. That’s why we have compiled this information and guidance with our charity partners who specialise in mental health.

If you need urgent support
If you or someone you know is at immediate risk of harm to themselves, it is important that you contact the emergency services in your country straight away.
If you or someone you know is in need of urgent support but is not an immediate danger to themselves, it is important that the person in need of help contacts a local mental health crisis helpline. There are many around the world and you can search a directory of what is available in your country on the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) website.
You may also be interested in visiting the Staying Safe website, which guides you to create a safety plan which can keep you safe from suicidal thoughts.
