This Means Warp Launches on Steam Today

Co-op spaceship roguelite lifts off from Early Access with 25% launch discount and will explore new platforms later this year

Cambridge, UK, 4 May 2023. Jagex and Outlier Games’ co-op sci-fi survival game, This Means Warp, launches today on Steam. The frantic spaceship management roguelite first launched in Early Access in March 2022.After numerous updates, balance updates and thrilling new content This Means Warp is ready to take players into the unknown!

To explore the hostile galaxy in This Mean Warp, players will have to team up to battle dangerous enemies, adapt their strategies, and upgrade their ships to survive in the procedurally generated universe. Since its initial release, This Means Warp has seen ship-to-ship boarding, multi-ship battles, additional missions and a full arsenal of wacky weapons added to the game.

During its Early Access journey, This Means Warp has built a thriving community with numerous updates keeping the game fresh and today sees the addition of a second player ship that will have players rethinking their approach to taking on their perilous journey.

This Means Warp Features: Procedurally generated challenges make every game unique with randomised maps, items, enemies, and encounters. Players will need to adapt to new challenges by making the best of their arsenal of weapons and upgrades.

Deep, strategic combat that requires players to think on their feet as they contend with hectic, real-time battles where they must balance beating their foes with keeping their ship in one piece.

Varied roster of crewmates will support players as the galaxy provides challenge and after challenge to overcome. Players can team up with up to three players or can choose to fill the ranks using a roster of AI crewmates.

This Means Warp is available now on Steam with a 25% launch discount (£12.56 / €14.63 / $14.99), and willl be launching PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch later this year.
